SignalRGB Introduces a Practical RGB-Creating Toaster PC — Quad-Slice Toaster Case with Stream Deck Inside!

Estimated read time 3 min read

While waiting for Razer to finally deliver its much-anticipated toaster, the creative minds at SignalRGB have taken the plunge and created a toaster PC that’s both real and functional when it comes to gaming! In a bid for virality, they are giving away this quirky system paired with a 10-port Thunderbolt 4 dock.

This PC isn’t just a workstation st inside a usual four-slice toaster shell. It’s got real specs but, let’s be honest, it won’t toast any bread thanks to the RGB fan blocking off two slots meant for bread. Up front, it’s equipped with an actual Stream Deck, while side perforations ensure that cool air can flow through to keep the essential components from overheating. And those old ejection handles? They’re recycled to turn the PC on and off!

RGB enthusiasts will be thrilled as the toaster features bright under-lighting with light strips wrapping around it.

Inside the toaster, the main components are sorted out comfortably for top performance: there’s a Core i5-14600K Raptor Lake CPU, a Zotac RTX 5060 GPU, a Z790-I Mini-ITX motherboard, pumping 32GB of G.Skill Trident Z DDR5 RAM and powered by a Cooler Master 850W SFX supply along with a speedy 1TB WD Black NVMe SSD. As a bonus, the 10-port RGB Thunderbolt 4 Dock comes included, because that’s just how they do things at SignalRGB!

You can clearly read this toaster-PC is a direct shot at Razer for their slowpoke development of Project Breadwinner: “We stripped down a real toaster and loaded it with a legitimate gaming monkey that slips-streaming! It’s got dual LCDs, a stream deck, and fantastic RGB lighting all functioning thanks to SignalRGB software.”

To catch everyone up, Project Breadwinner initiated by Razer was aimed to creative gamers’ fantasies by developing an RGB toaster. What kicked off as a Facebook joke in 2013 led to Razer’s infamous April Fool’s prank in 2016. Things got real when the CEO promised a live toaster, but only if the community garnered enough likes and even committed to tattoos (yes, ink on skin!)

With a growing fanbase for this project, over 12 die-hards actually got tattoos of the Razer toaster idea. The CEO insisted on a million likes, counting tattoos towards that goal which definitely helped them cross the finish line with ease.

However, Razer’s efforts seem to have peaked back in 2019, with no true updates since; the latest statement indicated it would take just a few more years to come together. Still, loyal tattoo fans remain hopeful, eagerly awaiting Boston Project Breadwinner to bear fruit.

It’s key to note, SignalRGB’s toaster PC won’t brown bread as was originally intended, but it sure looks like an authentic toaster and lets you dive into vide game thrills. It’s clear this playful mod from SignalRGB probably won’t put any pressure on Tan to speed up Razer’s toaster production.

Honestly, including more of these unique systems in the giveaway, specifically for those brave tattoo goers committed to Razer’s vision, would be a great move! Bigger rewards for their steel-colored ink choices. After all, the unfortunate chap with the Zune tat got flown out to meet Microsoft!
