The ex-NFL star finds joy in her busy life as a mom of four!
Kylie Kelce recently sat down with PEOPLE to discuss her relationship with Dove, highlighting their new short film “Fans of Confidence.” In this film, they promote the importance of girls’ self-esteem through sports. Kylie gave a peek into the happenings in the Kelce household.
Adjusting to life with her latest addition, daughter Finnley, who’s now four months old, Kylie shared, “It’s not too overwhelming. Most of the time, I just carry her in a front pack and we’re good to go!”
She also praised her husband, Jason Kelce, for taking charge during bedtime, transforming the family’s evening routine. “We used to share the load for bedtime, but now he manages it quite well on his own, and honestly, the kids prefer it that way,” she revealed.
“The kids tell me, ‘Mom, you can go now!’ when Jason’s in charge. He gives the best back scratches and adds a fun twist to storytime, so he’s definitely the favorite at bedtime,” she joked. “But seriously, that’s the main change we’ve adjusted to — dad’s got bedtime covered now.”
Kylie and Jason, parents to Finnley, plus Bennett (2½), Elliotte (4½), and Wyatt (5½), are eager to bring their family to support Uncle Travis Kelce at NFL games this season.
“The girls haven’t made it to one of his games yet due to scheduling conflicts — a lot of Monday night games, which aren’t suited for young kids! A late start time at 8:00 p.m. just doesn’t work for our little ones, but we’re hoping for a good 1:00 p.m. Sunday game soon,” she said.
As part of her ongoing collaboration with Dove, she is passionate about empowering girls to embrace their bodies confidently. She pointed out that many girls quit sports during their teenage years due to body image issues, which is something she strives to counteract. “I want to remind them that every body is capable of amazing things. It’s not about fitting a mold; we would all miss out on the fun if everyone looked the same!”
Kylie will introduce the short film, “Fans of Confidence,” at the Gotham FC game on Saturday, August 9. This project aims to change the narrative where rather than professional athletes cheering for the fans, it’s the stars of Gotham FC who inspire young girls by attending and supporting their youth programs. “It’s all about making them feel recognized and celebrated — and encouraging them to stay in the game!”
Kylie adds, “Recognizing what your body can achieve instills confidence. The effort and time you invest truly enhances your skills, and when you s d on the field, that’s an instant boost to self-assurance. Sports create a unique bond with teammates, and these connections uplift each other during practices and games, offering support in all aspects.”
