On Monday, Boeing proudly announced a significant deal with Korean Air for over 100 aircraft. This agreement is part of President Donald Trump’s ongoing efforts to encourage more business exchanges between American companies and their global partners.

The deal includes a lineup of 787, 777, and 737 passenger jets, as confirmed in a release from both Boeing and Korean Air.

Korean Air’s CEO, Walter Cho, noted that acquiring these new jets will not only modernize their fleet but also play a crucial role in maintaining competitiveness, especially as the airline merges with Asiana Airlines.

This announcement came shortly after South Korean President Lee Jae Myung discussed the 15% tariffs imposed by the US in July, during a meeting with Trump in Washington.
