Coming in at number two is “Wednesday,” which saw a jump after releasing the second half of its second season on September 3. ‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’ takes the third spot after its impressive theatrical debut on September 5. Meanwhile, the excitement around ‘Wicked: For Good’ propels it up to number four, just two months ahead of its anticipated release. ‘Superman’ slips down three places, rounding out the top five.
In the sixth spot, “Stranger Things” drops slightly, while “Alien: Earth” makes its debut at number seven as the first season airs on Hulu. “The Summer I Turned Pretty” falls to eighth as its current season approaches its wrap-up on September 17. College Football makes a strong entry into the rankings at number nine with the season kicking off, and “Dexter: Resurrection” remains steady at number ten, wrapping up its series finale just this past weekend.
