On September 17, a sad incident happened at Epic Universe in Florida when a guest died after enjoying the park’s Stardust Racers ride. Details about the guest’s identity have not been disclosed, as reported by Universal.
According to a spokesperson, the individual was found unresponsive once the ride ended and subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where they were sadly pronounced dead.
In a heartfelt statement, Universal expressed, “We are heartbroken by this tragic event and extend our deepest condolences to the loved ones of the guest. We are fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation led by Orange County.”

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is currently looking into the matter, and the Orange County Fire Rescue Department has reported that the deceased was an adult male, according to NBC affiliate WESH.
As of now, Stardust Racers has been closed following the incident, as stated by Universal.
By the way, this dual-launch coaster is quite thrilling, situated in Celestial Park at Epic Universe. The ride features two coasters that launch simultaneously, hitting speeds of up to 62 mph.
