Since Ozzy Osbourne left us, there’s been a lot of curiosity around how his family, especially his kids, are doing. We’ve caught glimpses of them offering touching tributes, but now it looks like multiple Osbourne offspring are joining forces for a new documentary called Ozzy: No Escape From Now, which will also see the rarely spotted daughter Aimee take part.
Aimee isn’t typically in the public eye and didn’t star in the famous MTV show The Osbournes, so her cameo in this documentary is definitely a welcome twist. Check out the trailer below:
Fans are buzzing in the comments on the trailer, noting things like: “It’s a great surprise to see Aimee here and being so open”, and “So nice to hear from Aimee after all this time!”
As mentioned earlier, Aimee previously distanced herself from the family’s public drama, moving out at just 16. Her mom, Sharon Osbourne, revealed in June 2018 on The Talk that life in the spotlight wasn’t for Aimee: “She left home because living under cameras drove her nuts. The thought of growing up in front of the camera was unbearable for her.”
Sadly, Aimee doesn’t have the closest relationship with her siblings, likely due to her desire to stay under the radar. As she mentioned in a 2020 interview with New York’s Q1043, “Being around a famous dad, I always cherished my privacy, even in the family setting.”
Despite her low-profile life, Aimee is the lead singer of the synth pop band ARO, and is now honoring her late father publicly.
For a bit of background, Ozzy had three children with his first wife, Thelma Riley, which includes her son Elliot (born in 1966), plus two more kids, Jessica (born in 1972) and Louis (born in 1975).
Then, on July 4, 1982, he married his manager, Sharon, and they had three kids together: Aimee (born in September 1983), Kelly (born in October 1984), and Jack (born in November 1985).
Ozzy: No Escape From Now is hitting screens on October 7.
