The WWE Wrestlepalooza event was a landmark occasion, marking the first time the promotion teamed up with ESPN for a premium livestream. Naturally, one of wrestling’s biggest legends showed up to deliver some big news.
Even though The Undertaker has hung up his boots, he still knows how to energize a crowd. His arrival always signals excitement and mystery about what to expect next.
Check this out: The Undertaker rode into the arena on his motorcycle—a throwback to his biker days before he transitioned back to his eerie undertaker persona.
Upon entering the Wrestlepalooza venue in Indianapolis, he appeared ready for an interview with Stephanie McMahon, a figure he knows well from his storied wrestling career. But here’s the twist: instead of an interview, The Phenom dropped a massive bombshell related to WWE’s future.
Channeling the iconic hype man, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Taker asked the roaring crowd, “Are you ready?” This wasn’t just a warm-up; he repeated the question to amp up the audience even more.
Then, with a big grin, he announced, “It is my great privilege to induct you as the very first member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026.” The crowd erupted in cheers!

This next phase in her career adds her to the prestigious list of the McMahon family legacy in the WWE Hall of Fame. Back in 1996, her brother Shane inducted their grandfather, Vincent J. McMahon, posthumously.
Stephanie’s husband, Triple H, is also a Hall of Famer, having received the honor twice, once as part of D-Generation X and again individually.
Typically, the Hall of Fame ceremony takes place on the eve of WrestleMania, usually in the same city where the main event occurs. Right now, we don’t know who will be the one to induct Stephanie, but Triple H and Shane are solid candidates.
In a pattern that looks to continue, WrestleMania is returning to Las Vegas, taking over Paradise at Allegiant Stadium for back-to-back nights on April 18-19.
WWE spotlighted Stephanie’s Hall of Fame induction during Wrestlepalooza, which kicks off a new era on ESPN Unlimited. Keep an eye out for details on how to catch the Hall of Fame ceremony as we get closer to the event!
