Motorola just dropped its latest ultra-slim smartphone, and it’s a game-changer! The device is globally recognized as the Motorola Edge 70, but in China, it goes by Moto X70 Air.
Introducing the Motorola Ultra-Slim Phone
mark your calendars! The global launch is set for November 5, officially confirmed by Motorola. The early announcement in China has hyped things up before its worldwide debut.
Boasting a sleek design, the Moto X70 Air measures in at only 5.99mm thick and weighs 159 grams. While it’s slightly thicker than the Galaxy S25 Edge (5.8mm) and the iPhone Air (5.6mm), it’s making waves with its impressive features.
Speaking of features, the Moto X70 Air packs a serious punch with a massive 4,800mAh battery, outshining its competitors; the Galaxy S25 Edge has a 3,900mAh battery, and the iPhone Air only offers 3,149mAh.
Lightweight and Powerful Battery
Not only does it have the biggest battery, but it’s also the lightest phone. Weighing in at 159 grams, it’s lighter than the Galaxy S25 Edge (163 grams) and the iPhone Air (165 grams).
The Moto X70 Air doesn’t skimp on the display either. It features a flat screen with a centered camera hole and rear triple-camera setup. The 6.7-inch display boasts 120Hz OLED technology with a 1220p+ resolution and incredible peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Plus, it includes an under-display fingerprint scanner!
This powerhouse supports rapid charging, featuring 68W wired and 15W wireless options. So, it’s all about faster charging than the alternatives! Plus, it’s certified IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance.
Performance and Features
Under the hood, the Moto X70 Air is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, complemented by a 3D vapor chamber cooling system for optimal performance. You’ll find 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM along with options for 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage.
The camera setup includes a robust 50-megapixel primary camera utilizing a Samsung sensor (details TBD), a stellar 50-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 120-degree field of view, along with a third camera yet to be confirmed.
Available in Bronze Green, Gadget Gray, and Lily Pad color options, the Moto X70 Air is already making waves in China, although its pricing remains under wraps.
