2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Netflix fans! During their Q3 earnings call on October 21, CEO Ted Sarandos unveiled a list of 11 popular shows confirmed for new seasons, including Bridgerton, Ginny and Georgia, and Outer Banks.
This sneak peek into the future gives us a glimpse of what’s to come, especially after Netflix wrapped up the final season of Stranger Things on New Year’s Eve this past year.
Here’s a direct quote from Sarandos during the call:
“I wanted to provide some insight into 2026. We’re really excited about several popular shows returning, including Bridgerton, Beef, Emily in Paris, One Piece, Outer Banks, Virgin River, The Gentlemen, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Running Point, Ginny and Georgia, and Lupin — all coming back for new seasons!”
Here’s the complete list of shows confirmed for 2026:
- Bridgerton Season 4
 - Beef Season 2
 - Emily in Paris Season 6
 - One Piece Season 2
 - Outer Banks Season 5
 - Virgin River Season 7
 - The Gentlemen Season 2
 - Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2
 - Running Point Season 2
 - Ginny and Georgia Season 4
 - Lupin Season 4

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, it’s no surprise that Bridgerton Season 4 has been long confirmed. Netflix has strategically revealed its two-part premiering schedule, which is set for January 29 and February 26, 2026. Similarly, fans are already aware that Outer Banks Season 5, One Piece Season 2, and Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 will also make their debut that year.
Among this lineup, Emily in Paris catches my eye! We know that Emily in Paris Season 5 is set to drop later this year on December 18, and this hints that the show is ready for a Season 6 renewal.
Meanwhile, Virgin River Season 7, which wrapped filming earlier this year, could still surprise us widely by being ready for a 2025 release; however, 2026 seems more probable.
Additionally, Sarandos also teased upcoming new content:
“We have tons of fresh series lined up for 2026, such as Golf with Will Ferrell, Little House on the Prairie, Man on Fire, projects from the Duffer Brothers, and an incredible selection of K-dramas. This is just a sneak peek; trust me, our 2026 offerings will astonish everyone following a stellar Q4!”
