Elizabeth Hurley is giving us an inside look at her burgeoning romance with Billy Ray Cyrus, who she says has been a fabulous companion.

Quick Facts

  • In a recent chat, Elizabeth discussed her relationship with country star Billy Ray Cyrus.
  • She also hinted at the times he gets a little on her nerves.
  • The couple revealed their dating status in April 2025.

In a revealing interview with The Sunday Times published on October 25, Hurley, now 60, expressed just how happy she and the 64-year-old Cyrus are together. She mentioned that they spent a delightful summer at her beautiful Herefordshire home in England.

“He just loves it here. I mean, the summer weather is way nicer in England than in Tennessee,” she quipped.

Cyrus lives about 40 minutes from Nashville and according to Hurley, his locale is stunning and even shares similarities with parts of England. “It’s kind of like Surrey back home,” she said. “It’s lovely!”

However, not everything in their love story is picture-perfect. Hurley playfully disclosed that groceries are off-limits for the couple. “He insists on staying in the car because he tends to be a bit annoying during shopping trips,” she said with a laugh.

The actress, who has a 23-year-old son Damian, described how she and Cyrus bond over their mutual struggles with hair. “Just the other day, I cut his hair! We both have some serious hair going on. There’s so much that we almost choke on it! His hair is super fuzzy and it gets everywhere!”

Moreover, the blending of their families appears to have been a breeze. Hurley commented that both of their children get along well. “Damian and Miley [Cyrus] have met. Billy’s kids are wonderful too, and he has spent lots of time getting to know Damian. It’s just lovely! Everyone loves each other,” she shared.

The celebrity duo shared their romance on social media for the first time in an Instagram post on Easter 2025, after initially meeting on the set of a Christmas film back in 2022. Despite an instant attraction, they lost touch for almost two years before reconnecting.

The Grammy-winning Cyrus has frequently opened up about his affection for Hurley, describing her as “a great human being” during an appearance on Apple Music Country’s The Ty Bentli Show in April, even stating that he would be happy to be just friends if nothing more came from it.

Reflecting on the happiness they’ve found together, Cyrus remarked, “It’s a blessing that Elizabeth and her son have entered my life. I’ve been happy for the first time in a long time.”
