Fort Worth police have confirmed that a third individual has been arrested in connection with the tragic shooting that took place at a nightclub in the West 7th district. This incident, which occurred in October, left a 31-year-old dead and five others injured.
The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Lamar Luster, was taken into custody and now faces a serious murder charge. He was booked into the Fort Worth City Jail on Tuesday evening.
The chaotic shooting happened around 1:40 a.m. on October 5 at Social LIVV, located at 3005 Bledsoe St. According to reports from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, Patrique Allen was pronounced dead at the scene, while four women and another man were also caught in the crossfire.
Investigators suspect the attack was specifically aimed at Allen due to alleged gang connections, with the other victims being innocent bystanders.
Following the shooting, the suspects fled the scene. On October 8, law enforcement arrested 20-year-old Arkell Ross after a brief standoff with SWAT officers. A second suspect, 23-year-old Jason Nash, was captured in South Fort Worth on November 5.
Both Ross and Nash currently face charges of murder, according to police documents. Nash is currently being held in Tarrant County Jail under a hefty bond of $750,000 and faces an additional charge of engaging in organized criminal activity. Ross’s bond has been set at $950,000, which includes charges from a separate robbery incident.
As of now, there are no further details available regarding the affidavits for their arrest warrants. It remains unclear whether Luster has secured legal representation.
