Jake Paul stepped into the ring knowing he had quite the challenge ahead of him. Facing off against Anthony ‘AJ’ Joshua, a heavyweight boxing powerhouse and Olympic gold medalist, Paul put on a bravado for fans but ultimately couldn’t escape the fists of fate.

This showdown took place at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, with Netflix streaming the fight live. During the match, Joshua knocked Paul down in the fourth, fifth, and sixth rounds, finishing the bout with a decisive knockout at 1:31 in round six.

After the fight, Paul took to X, stating, “Jaw broken. Heart and balls intact. Time to rest, recover and come back for the Cruiserweight title.” He shared an X-ray image showcasing his ‘double broken jaw’ and tossed out an ambitious challenge: “Give me Canelo in 10 days.”

During the post-fight press conference, Joshua commended Paul, saying, “Jake did well while it lasted… I wish I could have knocked him out earlier, but we saw Jāke’s spirit. He kept trying even after going down, and I respect that. America, you’ve got someone who could bounce back if he wants it bad enough and could fill this venue again in 2026.”

Not only did this match capture the interest of fans, but it also broke records, bringing in the highest boxing gate in Kaseya Center’s history, according to MVP promotions.

Among the celebrities spotted at the event were Rick Ross, Young Thug, Ryan Serhant, and many others, adding an electric atmosphere to an already thrilling fight.
