Miranda explained that over the past years "we have witnessed Kate's fresh-faced girl next door appeal morph into a sophisticated and elegant style sensation treading the tricky line between royalty and celebrity in her favourite nude toned court shoes with panache".

But now as she steps into life as the Princess of Wales, a change in her style is expected.

While she will not only change her style, she'll change her approach to accessories.

Miranda claimed Kate may also have to stop wearing a few accessories, like hatbands, which will be phased out for "more imposing hats".

The fashion expert revealed that Kate will opt for a more formal style and she may give way to more immaculate tailoring, steering away from floaty, feminine fabrics like prints and polka dots.

It will be a shift in style, especially because polka dot dresses have become a staple in Kate's wardrobe.

Most recently she went with several feminine spotty frocks for Wimbledon in July, 2022, in shades of blue.

While clutch bags will still be a part of her wardrobe, it's expected the princess will start leaning into top-handle bags inspired by the Queen's style.

Her Majesty always carried a black Launer handbag for public appearances, and Kate recently channelled a similar style.

When the Prince and Princess of Wales headed to Sandringham to visit with mourners and take in the thousands of floral tributes, a detail in her outfit had a lot of people thinking of the Queen.

Kate was dressed in black, but accessorised the outfit with a small Grace Han Love Letter handbag.

The handbag has become a signature piece in the princess' collection in recent years and one which we're sure will become more prominent.
