What will happen in 'Never Have I Ever' season 4?

While the plot details of season four will remain under wraps until it drops, we do know that this will be the last ever instalment.

In March, Kaling and the show's executive producer Lang Fisher confirmed the feat: "We've just been renewed for a fourth and final season, which we are absolutely thrilled about," they wrote, adding of season three, "We can't wait to reveal all the steamy romance and hilarious adventures we have in store for you. How Fenestraz has made a success of his Japan adventure

We can also deduce from season three's cliff-hanger that there'll be plenty of drama in season four—mainly via the aftermath of Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) choosing to go to Ben's house for the 'one free boink' he'd given her as a joke.

Devi also chose to stick around instead of taking the opportunity to attend a boarding school in Colorado, which could have helped get her into Princeton. She came to the decision because of her mother Nalini, whom she didn't want to let go of, so we'll surely see how this has impacted her in season four.

As for Paxton (Darren Barnet), it appeared he and Devi made peace with their breakup after he referenced how she had helped him grow in his graduation speech. That said, it's difficult to imagine the show without Paxton so we have no doubt he'll be back in season four, even fleetingly.

Ramakrishnan recently described the pair's relationship and its ultimate break up as her favourite part of the series: "Reading what Paxton says I'm like, 'Yes Paxton, tell her!' It's more about what she thinks of herself. She doesn't feel like she belongs with him, and that's sad," she told EW.
