Six charged over wild nightclub brawl that injured police
Two police officers found themselves at the centre of a fight involving multiple people in a Sydney nightclub that had to be broken up with capsicum spray.
Gold Coast nightclub owner Ivan Tesic has been sentenced to eight years and nine months in jail for possessing almost four kilograms of pure methamphetamine with a street value of up to $5.25 million.

They were unable to reach a verdict on the charge of drug trafficking and prosecutors today told the court that charge would no longer proceed.

Tesic will have to serve at least half of the sentence, minus the 427 days he's already been in custody, before being eligible for parole.
