They began investigating the male tutor in late 2018 following allegations he had been assaulting students during lessons.

Detectives arrested the man, 54, at his home in Beecroft.

A search warrant was executed and several items were seized.

The man was taken to Ryde Police station and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault, including two counts of aggravated indecent assault with a victim under the authority of the offender.
