He was taken to Kogarah Police Station and charged with aggravated break and enter, as well as committing a serious indictable offence inflicting actual bodily harm.

He was refused bail and is due to appear at Sutherland Local Court today.

Detectives also executed a search warrant at a home in Peakhurst where they seized a number of items believed relevant to the case.
