Last night New South Wales Police arrested two men, aged 25 and 28, at an apartment building in Bankstown, in Sydney's south-west.

Members of the NSW Police Tactical Operations Unit made the arrests, with one man taken away in a police van and a 28-year-old man removed on a stretcher.

Police said he was treated by paramedics after jumping from a balcony to a lower floor.

They said he was expected to be charged with murder under a Victorian arrest warrant.
