The driver of the van, a 35-year-old Naracoorte man, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Today, investigating officers charged him with two counts of death caused by dangerous driving.

He received bail and is scheduled to appear at Naracoorte Magistrate’s Court on May 10.

The two deaths bring SA’s road death toll to 24 compared to 15 at the same time last year.
