Concerns for the welfare of a teenage girl have been raised by authorities in Queensland after she disappeared four days ago.

Queensland Police said in a statement last night that the 13-year-old girl was last seen on Monday this week on Meson Street in Gayndah, south-west of Bundaberg.

To date, no sightings have been made of the girl.

Authorities say welfare concerns have been raised with them because her behaviour is “out of character”.

“Police believe she may have intended to travel to the Caboolture area.”
