Six-year-old critical after crash A six-year-old girl is in a critical condition and three others are injured after a crash in the NSW Central Tablelands. Emergency services were called to Sunny Corners Road in Portland about 3.30pm. It is understood the vehicle rolled in the collision, injuring all on board. © 9news The six-year-old girl was airlifted to Westmead Children's Hospital in a critical condition. Two four-year-olds were taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital with minor injuries and the 30-year-old driver, a woman, was also taken to Westmead. Her injuries are yet to be confirmed.

The State Highway Patrol says a tractor-trailer approaching a central Ohio intersection struck a stopped SUV and triggered a four- vehicle crash that killed two people from Howell and injured three others.

Two people have died in a crash involving a truck and two utes on the Peak Downs Highway in Central Queensland.

Police said preliminary information indicated the truck and one of the utilities collided head-on about 4pm on Friday near Logan Creek at Winchester, about 220 kilometres south-west of Mackay.

The driver of the truck, a 47-year-old Emerald man, and the driver of one of the utes, who was a 48-year-old Moranbah woman, died at the scene.

The female driver of the second ute sustained minor injuries.

Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit were continuing with officers appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or had dash cam vision to contact Policelink on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
