New $600m Sydney hospital accused of turning away children
The hospital insists the children needed specialist treatment.
More than 31,000 properties are currently without electricity around Sydney’s Northern Beaches as crews work to restore power to those affected.
The outage is affecting customers from North Narrabeen north to Palm Beach, including Terrey Hills.
Ausgrid are currently investigating the cause of the outage which started around 3pm today.
“In this case it’s too early to have a cause for the fault. A crew will patrol the powerlines supplying the area to find the problem, make it safe and get the power back,” Ausgrid tweeted this afternoon.
NSW Fire and Rescue have confirmed to 9News that they are not responding to any substation fires in the area.
They are estimating that power will not be restored before 8pm this evening.
More to come.
