Two people have died in a serious two-vehicle crash in Victoria’s south this afternoon. Emergency services were called to the intersection of Myers Road and Coolart Road in Balnarring, after reports a car had collided with a truck just after 1.30pm. © 9news Police are investigating after two passengers were killed in a car and truck smash in Balnarring this afternoon. Yesterday afternoon a collision between a motorbike and car in Healesville, about 50 kilometres north east of Melbourne, cost the life of a 31-year-old man.
The motorbike rider died at the scene. The car driver was uninjured and is helping police with inquiries.
The weekend fatalities follow Friday’s deadly crash in Cressy, 70kms west of Geelong, which killed two people.

A man and woman, both aged 73, died when their Mitsubishi was in collision with a Hyundai.
The 56-year-old woman driving the Hyundai is in critical condition. Her female rear passenger, aged 25, is in a serious but stable condition.
Miraculously, a nine-month-old baby who was in a child restraint in the back seat of the vehicle was uninjured.
The deaths take Victoria’s road toll to 127 lives lost, compared with 83 at the same time last year.
