Police said they had charged a 56-year-old man currently held in corrections custody in Barwon Prison with 38 offences, including abduction by force and aggravated rape.

A second 61-year-old man was arrested by police in Kalorama, east of Melbourne, and charged with the same offences. He will face court on Thursday afternoon.
