Police call for witnesses to fatal Great Southern crash © Rob Gunstone Police are urging anyone who saw the crash to contact Crime Stoppers.

Police are calling for witnesses to a crash that claimed the life of a 46-year-old man near Albany on the early hours on Thursday.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Greenhills Road North and Broomehill-Kojonup, near the Great Southern town of Broomehill.

Officers believe the ute had been travelling south on Greenhills Road when it left the road and collided with a tree.

The driver, a Broomehill West man, died at the scene from his injuries.

Police found his black Toyota Hilux ute in a paddock just before 6.30am.

They would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash or the Hilux immediately prior to the accident.
