Four nightclub brawlers flee after red-light smash © Victoria Police The scene this morning after the crash at an intersection where a car failed to stop at a red light and hit another vehicle. Police are investigating a collision which occurred in South Melbourne this morning.

Four people fled in a vehicle from a brawl at a night club in Dorcas Street at about 2.50am.

The red VW Golf sedan did not have its headlights on and police failed in an attempted intercept at Park Street.

About 500 metres further on at the intersection of Park Street and Ferras Street, the Golf collided with a blue Subaru after failing to stop at a red light.

The four occupants of the Golf fled on foot.

The driver of the blue Subaru was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are continuing to investigate both the brawl and collision however no victims have come forward to report the matter.

Security guard Aaron Khalid Osmani, 37, and patron Richard Arow, 28, both died as a result of the shooting. Police are yet to arrest anyone over the incident.
