Steak made from insect meat? Yum! One scientist’s quest to turn lab-grown insect protein into burgers and bratwursts. Lab-grown cricket cells could serve up a healthier alternative to chicken, beef and pork. Edible insects are a great source of protein. But it’s probably folly to think that more than a few people want to swap crickets for steak on the dinner plate. Chomping on a sautéed cricket or savoring a spoonful of caterpillar stew just wouldn’t be the same. Mr Kim said he called his wife, who had not yet eaten her burger which he claims was revealed to be worse.

He said he returned the burgers to the restaurant on Days Road expecting some sort of solution but he claims they refused to replace the meal or offer a refund, instead requesting he fill out a form.

McDonald’s said it’s investigating whether or not appropriate action was taken by the restaurant.

Mr Kim wants a formal apology.

The real way McDonald’s makes their money – it’s not their food.
This fast-food giant may serve billions and billions of customers, but the bulk of their profit isn’t made from food sales. McDonald’s sells a lot of food. Like, a lot of food.
