'Urgent' search for woman, one-year-old son missing on Sunshine Coast © Queensland Police Service Lauren Gray disappeared after leaving a Peregian Springs address on Tuesday morning.

Police have launched an "urgent" search for a missing mother and her one-year-old son, who disappeared on the Sunshine Coast on Tuesday morning.

Lauren Gray, 32, was last seen leaving a home on Dunes Court in Peregian Springs with her son.

She has not been seen or heard from since.

It was believed the pair may be travelling in a White Jeep Compas with registration 249 XXJ.

Lauren is described as Caucasian, about 165 centimetres tall with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
