The girl found refuge in parks, a car and with friends when she escaped several times.

She and two friends eventually found emergency housing on February 25.

But on the same day, her father had called one of her friends and bribed the girl with money so she could meet him at the police station.

She and her older sister, who was 17 at time, were flown to Beirut on an Emirates flight two days later.

The Australian Federal police alerted Detective Senior Constable Tara Chapman – from the NSW Police Abuse and Sex crimes squad – about the girl who was on a 'child at risk' alert.

But AFP officers could not intervene as the girl was already onboard the flight from Dubai to Beirut.

The uncle forced the girl and her cousin to sit in a room and 'talk' when she refused to marry him.

The cousin had even brought her flowers in an attempt to 'court' her.

As she was adamant she would not marry him, her uncle then told her to 'come into my bed' where he kissed her but she resisted.

Detective Chapman said the girl had described has uncle as 'smelly and sweaty and all she could do was scream'.

She recalled how she felt 'paralysed' and 'couldn't move' because her uncle would drug her with a sedative every night. She would wake up in bed bleeding and in pain.

The girl and sister later found themselves alone in the house and managed to flee.

The pair had contacted their aunt who took the girls to the police station and the uncle was arrested.
