PICTURED: Girl, 3, who tragically drowned after falling from a boat as it's revealed she was one of 11 kids sailing with her 'hippie family' on adventure around Australia Zeinobiyah Soetekouw, who was affectionately called Zobbie by her parents Steve and Beccie, drowned after she fell from a yacht in the Hawkesburry River on Tuesday. Zobbie had allegedly been playing with her 10 siblings on the boat, which the self-confessed 'hippy' family called 'The Sumbawa', before the incident occurred.

“When she wakes, she will be fighting a big battle to fully recover,” a crowd funding page reads.

“Abbie and her parents, Amanda and Russell, are very well known and heavily involved in riding and showing horses – it is their passion and life – and now, unfortunately, they find themselves in an unimaginably heartbreaking situation.”

The page was set up by “Abbie’s Angels” to help with the costs of accommodation and travel to the hospital as well as Abigail’s ongoing medical costs.

Nearly $5000 had been raised by Wednesday afternoon.

A Facebook page has also been created to keep the community up to date on her recovery. It has been flooded with prayers and well wishes.

“The impact will be unknown for a long time,” a post from Monday reads.

“It will be a long road for her and her family.”

The Laidley and District Pony Club thanked its members for their concern for Abbie and said the club’s thoughts and prayers were with her and her family.

It declined to comment further to respect the family’s privacy.
