Elite Sydney school swimming coach charged over child abuse images A swimming coach at exclusive Sydney private school Knox Grammar will face court this morning accused of possessing child abuse images and drugs. The 30-year-old was arrested yesterday afternoon after police allegedly found child abuse material on a mobile phone which was left behind at the school's pool in Wahroonga. He was taken to Hornsby Police Station where he was charged with two counts of possessing child abuse material, and two counts of possess prohibited drug.

A man has been charged with two counts of murder after his parents were found dead inside their Sutherland home on Tuesday.

Forty-six-year-old David Reid was arrested after the bodies of Graham and Diana Reid were found by police in the home at Tudar Road around 8am, following a concern for welfare visit.

Police allege the couple's battered bodies were found lying in the bedroom and living room in the home they shared with their son David, who was taken to hospital under police guard for non-life threatening injuries.

The alleged killer was released from Prince of Wales hospital on Sunday, and taken to Maroubra Police Station where he was charged with the alleged murder of his parents.

He was refused bail and will appear at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.
