A 21-year-old man has been charged with numerous driving offences after a carjacking and car crash in the M5 tunnel on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to the M5 tunnel in Arncliffe just before 12.30am following reports of a crash involving a Mazda and Range Rover.
Following the incident, two passers-by in a Honda stopped to help. It's alleged the five men in the Mazda entered the Honda and threatened the driver with a knife, police said.

The man was refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on September 17.
