Another WA Health Department boss is in hot water after a Corruption and Crime Commission questioned more than $500,000 of overtime she had claimed.

Judith Innes-Rowe had worked for 23 years as the North Metro Health Service's clinical trials unit manager.

But a CCC report accused her of serious misconduct for claiming the staggering amount of overtime between 2012 and 2017, while she was earning a $120,000 salary.

"Despite two internal NMHS reports recommending disciplinary action against Ms Innes-Rowe, she was re-engaged via a recruitment agency in January 2019, with her timesheets being approved remotely," the CCC report said.

"The risks highlighted by the investigation into Ms Innes-Rowe are open to exploitation by any employee in the WA public health system, if there is no adequate oversight."

A previous CCC report uncovered systemic bribery and corruption involving three Health Department executives who were paid in travel and hospitality for awarding contracts to Perth building and maintenance contracts.
