A Perth mother was left "disgusted" after a gang of girls went on a violent rampage in a McDonald's restaurant on Friday afternoon.

Destiny, who does not want to reveal her surname, said her three-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son were in the playground at Maddington McDonald's when three girls came running into the restaurant about 1pm.

Soon after a black four-wheel-drive pulled up outside and a group of 10 or 11 teens got out.

A boy almost died after McDonald ' s staff put yoghurt in his milkshake despite the youngster's father asking them not to due to his allergies. James Tyfa, seven, suffered a severe allergic reaction after drinking a mango smoothie at the Huddersfield restaurant.

"As soon as they got through the door, they've started grabbing things from the McCafe - dishes and cups, and trying to smash saucers and cups."

Destiny said the group appeared to be targeting one of the three girls who had run inside the restaurant first.

"She's screaming like someone's murdering her so that's when the staff run over and try to break it up, pushing this pack back outside," she said.

McDonald's staff put the store into lockdown while patrons and management called police.

However the girls continued to wait outside the restaurant, and even tried to get inside the location by reaching through the wire of the playground fencing - where Destiny's children had been playing.

The girls waited outside for about 15 minutes, but left before police arrived.

Police said they received reports of the fight and attended but no one was injured during the incident.

Destiny said what disturbed her the most was she believed the driver who had driven the group of girls to the location was an adult.

"I was that disgusted a parent had driven them over that I took [a photo of the car]," she said.

A McDonald's staff member said it wasn't the first time a group of girls had tried to fight at the location, with a similar incident also occurring on Wednesday.

He said on that occasion, police happened to already be inside the restaurant at the time of the argument and quickly dispersed the group.
