Great-grandmother Susan Norman told A Current Affair she been locked out of the business she half-owns by her daughter Allison.

She said she and her second husband - who is not Allison's father - started a business offering support for people with disabilities.

It's now a multi-million-dollar company with 79 staff.

Allison started working at the company three years ago and when Susan's marriage ended early last year, Allison was gifted 50 per cent of the shares.

Susan said none of the other staff were rude to her - just Allison.

Allison claimed Susan was the problem.

When she formally sacked her last month, she said it was because her mum "failed to comply with reasonable direction" in her job as a support worker.

In an email to staff, Allison said Susan's "grievance has all been around salary increases, which I would not agree to due to the limited capacity in which she contributed to the business".

In her conversation with Susan in March - during which Susan asked for a pay rise - Allison was recorded saying, "there is no f------ way you're sticking around."

Susan has launched legal action demanding more than $500,000 from her own daughter and, ironically, her own business.

A Current Affair approached Allison, who said only that her mother had "harassed (her) for a long time".

In a written statement, My Life Support Services said that despite the current legal dispute, Allison and her team "continue to be committed to the high level of quality care and support of each client and their tailored needs".

"In relation to the legal proceedings, Allison and her team are not in a position to comment on the matter further," the statement read.
