Two men have been injured after a stolen car crashed at high speed in Brisbane's south last night.

PolAir spotted a Mitsubishi Lancer which had been stolen from Woolloongabba on Friday travelling through the Logan area about 11pm.

The car was seen allegedly being driven at speed northbound on the Gateway Motorway.

At 11.25pm the car crashed into another vehicle on the Pacific Motorway near the Underwood Road overpass and two men allegedly fled the scene before being taken into custody by a motorcycle officer soon after.

They were both taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver, a 35-year-old man from Deception Bay has been released from hospital and charged with driving and stealing offences.

He will appear in court on Tuesday.

The passenger was expected to be released from hospital later today.

The three occupants in the other vehicle were uninjured.

Police investigations are continuing.
