The Cross is changing from a nightlife hub into a health zone where millennials can grab a vegan smoothie or hit the gym before work. Brothels, bars and strip clubs have made way for boxing clubs, yoga studios and organic food shops.John Ibrahim's notorious Tunnel nightclub has been converted into a fitness centre and the Mansions Hotel, once a jam-packed pub in the heart of the Cross, is now a Barry's Bootcamp. Meanwhile, the two most famous strip clubs in the area, Porky's and Dreamgirls, will soon be offices with shops on the ground floor next to a thriving new boxing club and gym.

Australian boxing legend Jeff Fenech has undergone life-saving heart surgery in Thailand overnight.
Fenech is in Thailand for a training camp with his stable of boxers, including Brock Jarvis and Jack Brubaker.
The former three-time world champion was rushed to hospital on Friday night with pneumonia.
Fenech was placed in intensive care, with doctors diagnosing him with a badly infected heart valve and a lung infection which required emergency surgery.
Six elephants die after falling into waterfall in Thailand
Six wild elephants have died after falling into a waterfall at the Khao Yai National Park in Thailand. Two others were saved in the incident on Saturday at the Haew Narok Waterfall in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima, officials said. © Gilitukha Representative image The dead elephants included a three-year old calf, said park chief Kanchit Srinoppawan. The waterfall has been closed temporarily following the incident."It was an accident. We have often seen this happening," National Resources and Environment Minister Varawut Silpa-archa told Reuters.
Fenech went into surgery in Bangkok on Tuesday night, and the operation lasted over five hours.
Doctors replaced a damaged heart valve and drained his lungs during the successful procedure.
The surgery was a success, but Fenech will remain in hospital as there's still the risk of infection.
He may need to have his lungs drained again to avoid infection.
Fenech's wife, Suzee, arrived in Thailand earlier in the week and his kids landed on Tuesday. They met their old man just minutes before he went into surgery.
Deep in training camp, Fenech didn't want to go to hospital when he fell sick last week, but his fighters took it upon themselves to call an ambulance.
Doctors say if he wasn't taken to hospital when he was, things could have taken a more tragic turn.
