An eleventh person has been charged after a fraud syndicate handed out bogus qualifications to wannabe tradesmen during Sydney's property market boom.

Nine men and a woman are already before the courts over the scam, which involved selling forged qualification documents to people who had not completed the required assessments.

Police said a 24-year-old man was arrested at a Minto home in southwest Sydney on September 17 and charged with using and possessing a false document to influence exercise of public duty.

It will be alleged in court the man bought forged documents to obtain qualifications without having to complete the required assessments.
