Actress Helen Hunt is on the mend after being involved in a car crash in Los Angeles on Thursday. The Mad About You star, 56, was rushed to the hospital and examined by doctors after the accident, which occurred in Los Angeles' Mid-City neighbourhood, a police spokesperson told People. She has since been released from hospital.According to the police spokesperson, the Oscar-winning actress was among several people transported to a local hospital for treatment after the crash. A police investigation later determined that no crime was committed.

The persons who assaulted a man and a woman and taped their mouths shut during a home invasion west of Brisbane still haven't been found.
The man, 55, and the woman, 39, were gagged after the attackers entered the home in the Ipswich suburb of Raceview in the early hours of Saturday morning.
They were held against their will and assaulted and then taken to another property at nearby Ripley, where they were released and the woman called Queensland Police for help.
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police have not revealed the nature of those injuries or how many attackers were involved.
Both properties have been declared crime scenes.
Detectives will give an update on their investigation on Monday morning.
