The woman was travelling on William Street, Ermington, just after 8.30am yesterday when she hit a 55-year-old woman pushing a two-year-old boy and a five-year-old girl in a pram.

The girl sustained a large cut to her knee and the boy had swelling to the face in the incident. The woman suffered a leg injury.

All three were taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment.

The driver, who had two children in her car, returned an alleged breath analysis reading of 0.09. The children, aged eight and 10, were not injured.

She was charged with driving with mid-range Prescribed Content of Alcohol and had her licence suspended.

She has been bailed to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday 26 November 2019.

Investigations are continuing with further charges expected to be laid.

A child-at-risk notification has been submitted to the Department of Family and Community Services.
