The CCTV footage was posted on Facebook this afternoon, on an account operated under the name of notorious bikie Bradley Daniele, well known for taunting police in the past.

The vision shows an attack that happened in a shower area at the police city watch house in September.

The attacker can be seen going into a shower cubicle and savagely bashing another prisoner and repeatedly punching him.

The victim of the attack was on remand, accused of a shocking playground sex assault on a young girl to which he has since pleaded guilty.

It's not yet clear how Daniele, if it was him who in fact posted the vision, came to be in possession of this CCTV that comes from a highly secure police facility.

South Australia Police didn't comment on how the vision may have been obtained when asked by 9News, instead issuing a statement saying:

"A man was reported for an assault that took place at the Adelaide City Watch House in April."

"The 26-year-old man from Mawson Lakes was reported after allegedly assaulting another prisoner.

"The victim didn't require medical treatment. As the matter is now before the court, no further information can be provided at this time."

The police commissioner has previously confirmed a review investigation into how the attack was able to happen inside the watch house.
