Police have warned the public not to approach Mr Papworth as he may be in possession of a firearm. Detectives said Andrew Lee Papworth could assist them with an inquiry into an armed robbery investigation, believed to have occurred in Nollamara in January this year.

Police have warned the public not to approach a man wanted for questioning about a Perth robbery as he may be armed with a weapon.

Ali Hood, 31, is wanted by police as they investigate a recent armed robbery in the West Perth area.

Court records also reveal there is an outstanding warrant for Mr Hood, urging him to attend his nearest police station.

“Mr Hood may be in possession of a weapon, and should not be approached by members of the public,” WA Police spokesman Samuel Dinnison said.

“Any sightings of Mr Hood should be reported to police immediately on 131 444.”

Mr Hood is described as dark-skinned, about 175 centimetres tall with a muscular build, clean shaven and he has a tattoo on the left side of his neck reading: “Holly.”

Anyone with information regarding Mr Hood’s movements in the Perth area is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online.

Callers can remain anonymous.
