The bikini-clad woman who was captured on camera allegedly punching and spitting on beach rangers after she was asked to stop climbing a World War II relic on a beach has been charged.

The footage was taken on Bribie Island at around 2pm last Saturday and shows a woman in a red bikini and black shorts in a heated argument with a council worker.

The woman is seen waving her arms in the air at the ranger in front of a ute with a shirtless male friend and another woman in a pink dress.

Police said a 24-year-old woman has now been charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count each of serious assault of a public officer, willful damage and possessing drugs.

Queensland Police said the altercation started after rangers tried to stop the group climbing on a World War II structure on the beach.

The trio retreated to their car, before the woman in the red bikini jumped out of the vehicle and allegedly rushed for the ranger, pushed him in the chest and swiped at his face.

She allegedly punched the ranger's hat and sunglasses off his head before he managed to push her off him.

The woman allegedly retaliated and threw sand and spat at the ranger before her friend in the pink dress kept the pair apart.

The red bikini woman then engaged in an argument with two bystanders who watched and filmed the incident as their ute drove away.

Both male rangers, a 41-year-old and a 44-year-old were assaulted during incident.

Queensland police released the footage of the altercation and appealed for any witnesses to come forward.

A 24-year-old woman reappear in Richlands Magistrates Court on November 20 and has been remanded into custody.
