Paul Whyte, the high-ranking West Australian public servant at the centre of a corruption probe has been rushed to hospital after an incident at his home on Sunday night.
Police and emergency services, including a HAZMAT team, responded to the call at Mr Whyte's home in the wealthy suburb of Mosman Park.
Police had earlier said they were called to the address due to an incident, and that medical assistance was being provided by ambulance officers to one person.

Department of Communities assistant director general Paul Whyte, 56, has been charged with two counts of official corruption. A second man, who is not a public servant, 43, of Como, has also been charged with two Police swooped on properties in Mosman Park in Perth on Thursday in a dramatic bid "to prevent further loss of any government funds". Both men are in police custody and have had bail refused.WA Police Commissioner Chris Dawson said the charges related to alleged criminal activity with a combined value of more than $2.5 million of public money.

His lavish lifestyle came under scrutiny recently when an online Armenian news site, 1in.am, filmed one of his newly built homes in an Asked by Gala TV how the Anti- Corruption Council could fight corruption amid outstanding questions about conflicts of interest, he replied: “That is a different topic.”
On Friday, Mr Whyte and another man were each charged with two counts of official corruption for allegedly using false invoices to steal millions of dollars from the Department of Communities, where Whyte is an assistant director-general.
The second man, Jacob Anthonisz, who is not employed in the public sector, was also charged.
They are accused of creating false invoices and then transferring the money into company bank accounts before withdrawing it for personal use.
It was initially thought the amount being investigated was $2.5 million dollars, however police say it could be as much as $25 million.
Police say they are continuing their investigations at the house.
