GM will be joining the electric ute party, with the automotive giant confirming its first all-electric pick-up will hit the market in 2021. Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair
Truckie Ramzy Ali is planning to take the officer and NSW Police to court after senior constable Murphy issued him with a defect notice - which he was later found not guilty of -taking his truck off the road.
Last September, the well-known Strike Force Raptor policeman pulled Mr Ali over in Sydney's west. He charged him with failing to indicate, and for driving an allegedly defected motor vehicle.
The officer claimed the driver's chair in his Volvo truck had serious problems, but the driver claimed there was nothing special about it, and it was the manufacturer's standard.
Mr Ali claims the defect notice took him off the road and away from his work for five days while he had a baby at home.
It took almost a year, in June 2019, when a court found Ali not guilty of driving with a defective seat. He was also fined $200 for failing to indicate left.
Mr Ali said he initially planned to let the matter slide, but senior constable Murphy's latest incident - where he called a migrant driver the 'stupidest person' and bizarrely threatened to charge her 'as an accessory to bloody murder' - changed his mind.

'To be honest, I wasn't going to sue him. But when I see him with those ladies ... 'It's disrespectful, the way he was talking to them.
'I'm going to pursue it. This guy is a joke,' Mr Ali told Daily Mail Australia on Friday.
The gang-busting officer is a cult figure online and has won high-profile support from talkback radio hosts.
But more than 20,000 people have signed a petition calling for his sacking and Daily Mail Australia this week revealed he has been placed on 'restricted duties' keeping him mostly in the office.
Mr Ali, who was familiar with senior constable Murphy, filmed his stoush with the police officer.
In his clip, the officer can be seen slapping a defect notice on the truck 'because it doesn't comply with Australian standards'.
Meanwhile, the truck driver repeatedly questions him. 'Why are you going so hard?' Ali asks.
'There's nothing wrong with the truck. Murphy, there's nothing wrong with the truck? The truck's empty! You're just hassling me.'
'Yeah whatever,' the officer says, before saying the vehicle needs to be taken off the road and subjected to a full inspection.

As Mr Ali talks over him, the police officer snaps. 'How about be quiet? Zip it. This is a defect notice ...
Mr Ali insists: 'I'm making a living, bro, I'm making a living Murphy.'
Senior constable Murphy barks back: 'Just SHUT UP and let me explain it to you, OK?
'The more you talk, the longer you sit here, the longer you've got to get home.'
Raptor 13 became a viral sensation last year following several incidents filmed with mobile phone video. He was caught on camera confronting a group of mourners attending a Comanchero boss's funeral and getting into a heated argument with a 'veteran' motorcyclist.
The drama all seemed to have blown over until the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission (LECC) sent a scathing report to a Parliament about the April 20 incident involving Mr Murphy and Muslim drivers.
A NSW Police spokeswoman confirmed he had been 'performing appropriate restricted duties' since earlier this year, but it's understood that decision was made because of threats against the officer.
The LECC has recommended Mr Murphy be disciplined. NSW Police say they will respond to the recommendation in due course and were approached for further comment.
Raptor 13's antics revealed as police confirm he has been 'pulled off the road and placed on restricted duties'
Senior Constable Andrew Murphy first caught the interest of the public about two years ago when videos of his stand-offs with members of the public went viral on social media.
The hard-nosed officer is part of an anti-gang police enforcement squad named Strike Force Raptor, which targets outlaw motorcycle groups and uses unconventional tactics.
He sparked headlines for confronting mourners on their way to the burial of slain Comanchero boss Mick Hawi, waving a metal pole near a man's head and getting in an elderly man's face.
'Move it ... I'm not asking, I'm telling you,' he is heard telling the man in a viral video.
Mr Murphy has been praised on talkback radio for his 'no nonsense' tactics - and videos circulating through Facebook show he rarely backs down in tense stand-offs.
But he has also become a hate figure and the target of vile online abuse, including rape and death threats.
