Pigment dispersion syndrome caused the man's eye to look like something out of Mordor.That's what happened to an eye doctor in Texas when a 44-year-old man stopped by the office to establish patient care. The man had no specific complaints aside from a family history of glaucoma.
An elderly woman has spent a lonely night alone after going missing from her high-care retirement home.
Julia Wood, 74, suffers from Dementia and went missing from her care home at Point Vernon in Hervey Bay around 4pm yesterday.
An enormous search effort was launched, including aerial support from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter combing local waterways.
Locals spent all night on foot searching bushland and roadways for any sign of the 74-year-old.

An 84-year-old woman is in a serious condition in hospital after she was attacked by an unknown male intruder on Saturday afternoon.Police said the 84-year-old had returned to her unit at a retirement village on Bobbin Head Road, North Turramurra, about 12.25pm on Saturday to find a strange man in her bedroom.
"Pretty much everyone we spoke to along the foreshore and along the esplanade were all aware of it and were out there on their own free will having a look for her," said Lindsay Judson from Queensland Police.
After a long night Ms Wood was located safe and well just before lunch today.
"She appears to be suffering from the effects of dehydration but that's all," said Mr Judson.
