Teenage girl's face slashed in violent western Sydney brawl
An 18-year-old woman has been slashed across the face during a fight at Blacktown overnight, with police waiting to interview two women over the incident. Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command were called to Flushcombe Road shortly after 10pm, responding to reports of a fight involving two women.The 18-year-old was found with a 10cm long wound to her forehead and other facial cuts before being treated at the scene.She was later taken to Westmead Hospital, where her condition is reported to be stable.A crime scene was established and following inquiries, a 17-year-old woman was arrested at a nearby shopping centre.

An ugly brawl has overshadowed the final show of U2's tour of Australia in Perth with several men throwing punches in the crowd.
One man was punched unconscious after the fight broke out at Optus Stadium towards the end of the Irish rock group's set last night.
Witnesses say he was unconscious on the ground for up to 20 minutes before being taken away by paramedics.
U2 fan Mark James said he was shocked to see the brawl erupt in front of families, including children.
Man charged after girl allegedly assaulted at Sydney rap concert
A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a young girl at a rap concert in Sydney. The 14-year-old was on the dance floor at Juice Wrld's all-ages concert at the Hordern Pavilion on Friday, when the man allegedly approached her just before 10.30pm.Police said the man touched the girl sexually before trying to lead her towards the stage, away from her friends.The girl's mother was also at the concert and reported the incident to police when her daughter told her what happened.Detectives arrested a 26-year-old man in Windsor yesterday.

A brawl has taken place in a Perth court between the family of a man who was killed and 39 year-old Troy Smith who is accused of killing him.
"He was in a bit of a bad way," he said.

The venue's management has described the brawl as "shocking" and said it will investigate the response of security and health services.
