Guns seized, 19 charged in Victorian raids
A collection of 30 guns has been seized and 19 people have been charged after a major police operation in regional Victoria. Police conducted four days of raids in Ballarat and Bacchus Marsh this week, arresting 21 people and uncovering the arsenal of weapons.A stash of drugs including cocaine, ecstasy tablets, heroin, LSD and MDMA, as well as six tasers, imitation guns and ammunition and chainsaws were also seized.Inspector Greg Payne said it was the largest seizure of guns in the region."We're taking these weapons off the streets and ensuring they're not in the hands of the wrong people," he said in a statement.

A man and woman have been charged with drug trafficking after police found a substance they allege is heroin when executing warrants in Melbourne's inner east.
A man and woman have been charged with drug trafficking offences after they were found unconscious in a car south-west of Melbourne.
Police were called to do a welfare check after the man and woman were found by a member of the public, passed out in a silver Commodore with the engine running, on Ranfurlie Avenue, Point Cook just after 6am yesterday.
Police searched the car and allegedly found 33 grams of methamphetamine, 233 grams of GHB, 1.7 grams of ecstasy, as well as stolen items and cash.
The man and woman were arrested and taken into custody while investigators also executed a search warrant at the man's Point Cook home.
More ecstasy and methamphetamines were allegedly found at the 23-year-old's home and he was charged with trafficking drugs, drug possession, offending while on bail and driving while disqualified.
The 22-year-old woman from South Kingsville was also charged with trafficking drugs, drug possession and handling of stolen goods.
Both were denied bail and will appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
