Friends are remembering a 24-year-old Victorian man as a "good guy" with a "cheeky smile" after he died of a suspected drug overdose at a music festival just north of the Victorian border.
Glenn Mcrae, from Shepparton, was attending the Strawberry Fields four-day music festival in Tocumwal when he was rushed to the event's medical tent at 12.45am on Sunday.
Medical staff were told he had taken MDMA, cocaine and GHB. He suffered a cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead shortly after 2am.
On Sunday night Mr Mcrae's heartbroken friends took to social media to pay tribute to him.

The death comes a day after residents called for the facility to be moved elsewhere. Although a 15-year-old cannot legally access the service, Reason Party MP Fiona Patten says this is the reason it was set up."We are saving hundreds of others and we are saving the families of hundreds of others from going through the pain that that family is going through," she said.But residents have been angered by the overflow of heroin users not accessing the facility.

"Today I lost one of my best mates. Glenn you were the most funniest, sweetest person I know," wrote Neha Singh.
"You were basically my older brother and because of you we brought a great group of people together. Our family isn't going to be the same without you but we will always cherish the memories we had with you. I love you more than you'll ever know. Rest In Peace."
Cohan Lee remembered a mate always up for a good time.
"Taken too young brother. Will miss that cheeky smile and same want as me for a good time. Peace my brother. Let hair down now mate," he wrote.
Abbey Macklin said "he was a good guy and was always up for a chat and a laugh."
"He was very sociable and would always be out and about doing things, but overall he was always really kind to me and I did consider him to be a mate," she said.

Eight people were issued with drug criminal infringement notices, including three Victorian men, aged between 22 to 26, who were all charged with supplying prohibited drugs.
