Trent Grose, from Broken Hill in rural New South Wales, was on Sunday found dead under a tree near Maxwelton in far north Queensland.

A frantic search for him was launched two weeks ago when his four-wheel-drive was found broken down near a remote property 17km from where he died.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
